CLOVES Syndrome
Up until a month ago I had not heard of CLOVES Syndrome. In doing my monthly literature search I found a reference to a 2007 publication by Sapp and associates to a newly defined syndrome. This little known syndrome was identified in 7 patients in this article. Many of these patients were previously thought to have a variant of Proteus or other overgrowth disorders- but CLOVES is different.

Hello,
how many are out there with relatives with CLOVES
syndrome?
I have a daughter who was recently diagnosed ,at age 24,
with CLOVES syndrome.

The incidence of Cloves is not well documented. Physicians at Boston Children’s are doing much of the research on this newly defined disease. You could Contact Dr. Allomari at Boton Childrens for more information. In the mean time I will see if I can find out more for you.
