The Board of Directors of NOVA is comprised of parents of children who have had a vascular anomaly.
The Board of Directors work with our medical and scientific advisors to provide information and assistance
to individuals in themanamgnet of vascular anomlaies.

The Medical and Scientific Advisors to NOVA provide assistance to the organization by answering 
email questions, lecturing at our conferences, providing patient consultations, and writing for our newsletter. 
They are not involved with the administration of the organization. All of their assistance is provided without 
financial compensation. The Medical Advisors all have an expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of 
vascular anomalies including, hemangioma, vascular malformation, port wine stains, KT, PHACES, 
SWS, and related syndromes.

NOVA has many volunteers that support the various projects we are involved in.  We need volunteers for fund
raising, conferences, and family support.  Our family support advocates are parents who have offered assistance to other parents
