Danyelle's Hemangioma

Danyelle's Hemangioma Appeared shortly after birth.  April 2005

Danyelle had laser and an excision of the hemangioma  by 5months of age.

In September of 2005 small vessels and some discoloration was noted at the excision site.

In November 2005 it was decided that there was new growth of hemangioma at the excision site. An ultrasound showed blood flow to the hemangioma.  Danyelle was started on oral Steroids

At her one year birthday Danyelle was almost off of the steroids , the small blood vessels were gone on her face.

In September 2006 Danyelle had scar revision surgery on the original excision site.

Just a few weeks after the scar revision

As a Cowgirl or Princess Danyelle is a healthy & happy 2 1/2 year old today!
