Beauty in Balance: A Common Sense Approach to Plastic Surgery & Treatments-Less Is More Allen Rosen, MD and Valerie Ablaza, MD are two of the finest plastic surgeons in New York and New Jersey. 

Dr. Rosen was named one of Americas Top Docs by both New York and New Jerseys Monthly magazine.  Fore eight years his peers have recognized him as one of the countries premier plastic surgeons.  He has been profiled on Good Morning America, MTV, Eyewitness News and NBC News.  He has been quoted in magazines including Allure, Shape and Self as well as the New York Daily News, The Wall Street Journal and Washington Times.  He has been a spokesperson for the american Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons and the founding partner of his practice The Plastic Surgery Group located in Montclair NJ.  Dr. Rosen completed his surgical training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NY.  He relocated to New Jersey where he an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the UMDNJ.  Allen balances the demands of a busy professional life with volunteer service.  He has dedicated 10 years to the Heal the Children organization.  He has been honored by the American Cancer Society of NJ for his efforts to help women in the fight against breast cancer.  Both the American Red Cross and the National Congressional Committees Business Advisory Council have recognized his contributions to the community.  Most recently Dr. Rosen has been actively involved in fund-raising efforts to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  He has been a significant contributor to the efforts of the National Organization of Vascular Anomalies.

Dr. Ablaza holds the unique in her profession.  It is well noted that only 1 in 10 Plastic Surgeons are women.  Dr. Ablaza is considered one of the best in her field.  She has been quoted as saying that a female plastic surgeon "brings a different perspective and sensitivities" to the field of plastic surgery. Dr. Ablaza is board certified by the american Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Phi Beta Kappa and the Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society.  She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed her residency at the New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center.  She completed her training with a fellowship in breast and aesthetic surgery in Nashville Tennessee under the direction of of the internationally renowned plastic surgeon G. Patrick Maxwell.  She is frequently quoted on the Internet at PlasticSurgery.com, Cosmeticsurgery.com and awcancer.com.  She has been featured on CN* One on One with Steve Adubato.  She is well published in medical journals, has written several chapters for plastic surgery and orthopedic textbooks.  She is active in leadership roles of the professional surgical societies in the state of NJ and serves on the executive committee of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons.  She balances her busy professional life by donating her time and expertise to Healing the Children.  She has been a financial supporter of the National Organization of Vascular Anomalies.
