Son Pham is in Boston today having his final surgery today:

I thought I should let you knwo that Son’s final surgery will be on January 12th. It will be a long one, but Son is prepared for it. The best part is that he will leave the hospital at the end of this week without his trach 
My husband is with Son on this trip. Next week, on January 21st, I will be going to Boston with Son and my two daughters. We will be meeting with Dr. Mulliken, Dr. Alomari, Ray Tye ( Ray Tye Medical Aid Foundation) and others to thank them on January 22nd. The doctors and everyone will then have the chance to see Son after the swelling subsides and stitches are out before Son returns to Vietnam.
